Dean & Co - Macrame and More

A big part of my childhood was spent with my grandmother. Weekends and summers were busy with gardening, canning food, cooking, sewing and crafting. My grandmother taught me how to crochet, thread a needle, make a knot and so much more. We visited fabric stores, searching through pattern books, picking out fabric, thread, buttons, and then I would watch her take all those pieces and make me an outfit, dress or costume. She canned some of the best pickles and apple butter I’ve ever had! She tirelessly cooked family meals, holiday treats, a cup of chicken noodle soup for each sick grandchild that came through. A faithful follower of Jesus, a prayer warrior and the strongest woman I have ever known. My grandmother passed away suddenly on January 18, 2022. Her passing filled me with grief, I questioned everything. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t have a thought or memory of her. A little over a year after she passed Dean & Co was born. I wanted to honor her and all that she taught me. Handmade creations by me, stamped with her name, all made with love.
